Stroll
Effective July 22, 2026
Stroll (“Stroll,” “we,” “us”) is operated by TRM Systems LLC. Stroll is a planning assistant that learns what you and your partner enjoy, finds things worth doing nearby, and — with your approval — puts plans on your calendar.
This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: support@stroll.town.
Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, profile photo, and Google account identifier.
Information you provide. Your home area and travel radius, budget preference, onboarding answers, card swipes and votes on ideas, messages you send in your shared planning chat, plans and recurring “rituals” you set up, post-date feedback, and friend connections and invites you create.
Google Calendar data (separate, optional consent). If you connect Google Calendar, we request two narrow permissions:
calendar.freebusy): we read only the blocks of time when
you are busy or free, so we can propose times that work for both of you. We never see what
your existing events are, who they're with, or where.calendar.events.owned): we use this to create the events you
approve and to manage the events Stroll itself created. We store the ID and link of events we
create; we do not read or store your other events. We store the credential that keeps your calendar connected in encrypted form.
Automatic information. Essential session cookies (to keep you signed in) and standard server logs (for security and reliability). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not use third-party analytics.
Stroll is built around a shared space with your partner. Content in that space — your planning chat, preferences the space has learned, proposed and booked plans, and feedback — is visible to both members of the space. Friends you invite to a plan see that plan's details. Don't put anything in a shared space you wouldn't share with the people in it.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.
Stroll uses large language models to power its planning chat, distill taste profiles, and summarize what people say about venues. Content needed for those features (such as chat messages, preference signals, and candidate plans) is processed by AI model providers acting as our service providers, via OpenRouter. Your data is not used to train these models, and these providers may not use it for any purpose other than serving Stroll's features.
Stroll's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
We use these providers to run Stroll. Each receives only what its function requires.
| Service | What it's for | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| Google Calendar API | Free/busy checks; creating approved events | Your calendar connection, event details Stroll creates |
| Google Places, Geocoding & Maps | Finding venues near you; maps and photos | Your home area / coordinates, search categories |
| Ticketmaster Discovery | Finding local ticketed events | Your area and interest categories |
| Reddit (public content) | Community insights about venues and activities | Search queries about places and activities — never your identity |
| Open-Meteo | Weather forecasts for proposed plans | Coordinates of your area only |
| OpenRouter (AI providers) | Planning chat, taste profiles, summaries | The content described in “AI processing” |
| Google Cloud | Hosting | Our infrastructure runs here (United States) |
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS). Calendar credentials are encrypted at rest. Access to shared-space data is enforced per space. No method of storage is 100% secure, but we design conservatively — starting by never requesting data we don't need.
Stroll is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will post the new version at this URL and update the effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
